AAROKYAM – COVID-19 Android Mobile Application is a Documentation tool developed by a team of Scientists of Siddha Central Research Institute in consensual consultation with Administrators and Siddha Medical Officers who are instrumental in collecting the field data.

The app has six different category selection like Frontline workers, Containment zone, Home quarantine, Quarantine ward, Isolation ward, and convalescence assessment.

This app is designed in such a way that it is useful to measure the benefits of the Intervention in every section. It is very easy for the Data entering person as every section could be filled in 5 to 6 mins for every patient.

Entry is restricted in a way that everybody should enter via mail and there exists a process of registration in the back end. To maintain confidentiality nowhere Name is asked except Frontline workers.

In the Containment zone number of people exposed after getting these interventions is recorded. Home quarantine measures symptoms and if a High-risk contact moved from Home quarantine and became positive he will be automatically moved to hospital quarantine. Even now if the symptoms became worse the patient moves to an isolated treatment facility. Also, there exists a provision in the App to assess Convalescence health status.
