Digitalization of Siddha Imaging Science

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) sanctioned grant of 8 lacs for a project "Investigation and Development of Enhanced Siddha Diagnostic Uroscopy "Neikuri" using Dynamic Image Processing System" to validate Siddha Neikuri. It is a one among 6 projects sanctioned all over India under Indian Knowledge Systems in Healthcare. Congratulations to Principal Investigator Dr.P.Manirajkumar and CoPI Dr.Kaleel Rahuman of PSNA college of Engineering, Dindigul. It is a only one project selected from Tamilnadu. As a coordinator of the project, I am very happy that my long dream comes true to patent Siddha diagnostic Uroscopy Instrument.

My heartiest appreciations and thanks to AICTE for the grant of eight lacs to validate Siddha diagnostic Uroscopy. Integration of engineering and Traditional knowledge will show a light for better beginning in Siddhar's science.

What is significant about the #SiddhaDay?Siddha Day commemorates the birth of Siddhar Agathiyar, the father of Siddha System of Medicine. According to the Tamil tradition, he is one of the revered sages and the one who gave the much followed Siddha system of medicine to mankind. He is considered the first among the 18 Siddhars whose collective efforts led to the emergence of the body of Siddha knowledge.
