What is significant about the #SiddhaDay?
Siddha Day commemorates the birth of Siddhar Agathiyar, the father of Siddha System of Medicine. According to the Tamil tradition, he is one of the revered sages and the one who gave the much followed Siddha system of medicine to mankind
He is considered the first among the 18 Siddhars whose collective efforts led to the emergence of the body of Siddha knowledge. He is also considered the author of several hymns of the Rigveda.
Let's join the observation of #SiddhaDay on 13th Jan 2020. Let's celebrate Siddhar Agathiar and his precious gift to humanity. #TheSiddhaWay
