SIDDHA TREATMENT FOR DYSFUNCTIONAL UTERINE BLEEDING

D. U.B is abnnormal uterine bleeding in the absence of clinically detectable lesion of the pelvic organs.It is related to an upset in the endocrinal control of the menestrual cycle.Metropathia haemorrhagica is common type of D.U.B.The characteristic feature is a short period of amenorrhoea(6-8 weeks)which is followed by prolonged and
heavy bleeding.The bleeding is always painless and in the form of large clots on examination.patient is anaemic.
TREATMENT
1. Nathai parpam-100mg B.D with butter before food.
2.Padikara chendooram-100mg B.D with butter before food.
3. Asoka pattai choornam-1 teaspoon with honey B.D
4. Imbooral tablet-1-0-1 B.D before food
DIET
Raise the foot end of bed
patient should be advised to take extra rest.
